![]() ![]() ![]() This pic also shows another things I have noticed with PPE not enabled.the track just goes all dark and dingy like it is a mid-winters day with 8/8ths cloud cover? That pic on the left is actually quite bright, I assume someone else will bring out some actual nice ini changes.but why should they need to, why is the track so dark with no PPE as released? I easily get 150fps with most stuff maxed and PPE on which is nice.but I just have to turn it off. Left pic is PPE off, and right is obviously with it on.exactly the same car/time etc Included an example of what I am talking about.what exactly is this terrible 'aberration' effect trying to achieve anyway, some terrible '3d' effect?įOV is selected off and still didn't help, PPE set to dynamic. Then there is the absolutely terrible graphic anomolies of PPE such as the the awful looking chromatic aberration or whatever it is, and the terrible bright harsh aliased white 'spots' at reflective edges that PPE somehow brings out (you can see a small example just below the fuel cap, on the door edge and the lower skirt below on R/H pic, they look a lot worse in motion), and the fact the 'dynamic range' is constantly changing the exposure as you drive around, very annoying. Obvioiusly my wheel can handle the forces as it is working fine if I increase it at the wheel.so why won't AC send it to the wheel without clipping? ![]() I guess I am the minority - but I am hugely disappointed with the latest release.įrom the strange sounds and barely any audible tire scrub in some cars, to the fact you barely have any FFB set and it is blowing out on the clip meter on 1 car and next to no FFB on another (PLEASE can we have car-specific overall FFB level.not specific setup-based), I have had to turn my FFB multiplier up to 130+% on my wheel to try and make up what the game is not sending through, or to actually have some FFB if I reduce it low enough in game to not have clipping. ![]()
